Olson & Jones Construction may specialize in residential construction and renovation for new and older homes, however it is their caring nature and commitment to community that stands out to those helped by the company every year.

The House of Ruth is blessed to call Greg Olson and his company, Olson & Jones Construction, partner in supporting young women and their choice for life.

For the past five years, Olson & Jones has been providing both financial and physical support to The House of Ruth by providing care and maintenance as needed at no cost to the House. Just recently when the storms ripped at the Houses' trees, it was Olson & Jones who made the roof repairs and did the inspection. Their staff can be found fixing the driveway, porch, or replacing severely cracked concrete steps.

When asked why they give both of their time and financial resources Greg Olson doesn't hesitate, "these women are courageous. I want to support them in their very courageous decision."

In an era when mixing business with beliefs can sometimes be a high-risk roll of the dice, it is Greg's courage that the House of Ruth applauds. Greg wants to people to "look to engage our community and know that we're not a company that just does the work— we're something more than just a company that puts things together."

Indeed they are doing much more.

Married for 16 years, Greg and Cynthia Olson have three daughters of their own: Amanda, Courtney and Isabelle.
